Vino de la Tierra is a quality of Spanish wine that denotes a level below the mainstream quality wine indication of Denomination of Origin. It represents a higher quality than table wine. Wines with 'Vino de la Tierra' ratings are allowed to state the year of vintage and grape varieties used to make wine on their labels. It covers not only still wine but also sparkling and fortified wine.
