Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2012
This Veuve Clicquot Vintage rosé is the 66th edition since the first vintage creation of the house in 1810. Despite extremely difficult weather, the 2012 vintage is the fruit of a tremendous harvest. Vinified and matured in oak tanks, the Vintage collection is thus powerful and intensively aromatic with subtle notes of grilled spices, wood, and vanilla. Delicious with refined food, such as lobster and duck.

Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green | |
Nose | Aromas of red fruit, wild strawberry, and saffron with notes of almond and pastry. |
Palate | Powerful and voluminous in the mouth with a distinct first impression. The first flavours are of red fruit, strawberry and cherry, followed by dense and noble tannins, very silky and velvety. They will agreeably balance the notes of pepper, saffron and spices which are so typical to that champagne. |
Colour | Dark pink with copper reflections |
