The sun is coming out and Mother’s Day is just around the corner!

To help anyone not too sure what to grab for this Sunday we’ve popped together a gift guide to help anyone who needs some inspiration out there. As well as treating your own mum - or other maternal figure in your life - why not congratulate a new mam, or just surprise that friend who deserves a little treat who’s doing a fab job at parenting. We’ve got lots of incredible gifts, so there’s something for every type of mum. The perfect option to treat the number one in your life, and hopefully if they are anything like our mammy’s they’ll be happy to share!

1. Cattier Brut 1er Cru

You can never go wrong with champagne and this is a perfect option a little off the beaten track. This Premier Cru from Cattier is assembled from 40% Pinot Meunier, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay. The palate is full and elegant with complex flavours of brioche and white stone fruits with crisp citrus acidity. The finish is long and introduces new flavours of nuts and honey mingled with forest fruits. Makes an excellent aperitif. Suits a wide array of dishes such as guinea fowl and sea bass. Can work well with fruity and creamy desserts.

2. Juvé y Camps Brut Rosé Cava

This beautiful cava is beautifully dry with lots of rich berry tones. Made solely from Pinot Noir grapes, grown in Penedes. Superb value and excellent champagne alternative. Juve Y Camps is located in the heart of the main Cava production area in the town of San Sadurní d'Anoia, not far from Barcelona. The family owns 2,700 acres of vineyards and their philosophy has always been to use only traditional. high quality practices when making its cavas and still wines.

3. La Farra Valdobbiadene Prosecco Frizzante

Our best-selling sparkling wine is loved by our customers and staff for its freshness, approachability, and value for money. This award-winning fizz outclasses most others in this price range and offers up surprising levels of fruitiness and depth of flavour. The grapes are grown in natural sunlight from the vineyard "Rive of Nardi" located in the upper hills of Farra di Soligo in the town of Collagú. Fresh and fruity with hints of apple and peach, and notes of wisteria and acacia.

4. Killahora Apple Ice Wine

The Killahora Apple Ice Wine is made from rare, bittersweet varieties grown largely in the Killahora Cork orchards. The apples are frozen in order to evoke a rich, elegant must which is slowly fermented for over a year, forming a sweet and well-balanced dessert wine. This is the 2017 vintage. Serve it chilled as an aperitif or as an after dinner treat with a cheese board!

5. Tokaji Aszu 2013 5 Puttonyos 50cl

7. Mór Pineapple Gin

Something a little more fitting for this sunshine we’ve been seeing, a more exotic version of Mór Gin - Mór Pineapple Gin! Serve with premium tonic, a slice of lime and lots of ice for a taste of summer in a glass!
