Bunnahabhain
An Islay distillery that uses lightly peated malt, Bunnahabhain is in a spectacular location in the north of the island and was founded in 1883. It is often overlooked in favour of the more peaty malts on the island which is a shame. Bunnahabhain is a big flavoured whisky when aged correctly and some bottlings have a very nice 'sherried' character. It is owned by Burns Stewart and operates four very large pot stills.
