This release pays homage to the summer solstice and longest day of the year. In Celtic tradition this is considered the peak of summer, and is revered for its plentiful hours of life-giving sunlight. Grianstad an tSamhraidh is the last great festival before daylight begins to dwindle, so we celebrate it enthusiastically as the crops begin to ripen and bear fruit.
