Domaine Avela

A very small domaine in the Languedoc situated near the village of Creissan. There are only 4ha of vines planted and these consist of Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah some of which were planted in 1911. Domaine Avela consistently produces one of the best wines in the Languedoc and the quality can be attributed to the favourable vineyard conditions and also meticulous work in the cellar/winery. In 2015, Domaine Avela moved their cellar to a beautiful area called Quarante, a small town 6km from their vineyards.
