Glenallachie 9 Year Old Douro Valley
A stellar release from the Glenallachie Wine Series. This single malt underwent a secondary maturation in Douro Valley red wine barriques from Portugal. The end result is a whisky rich with dried fruit flavours, jammy aromas of plum, dried cherry and honey on the nose, complemented by notes of ripe blackberries, butterscotch and cinnamon on the palate.
