Killowen Barántúil Cask 002

A release it's hard not to get excited about! Barántúil, meaning 'authentic' in Irish, is a superb bottling of Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey made with oat, rye, and wheat. The remaining mashbill consists of malted and unmalted barley. Aged in an ex-bourbon cask, to pair back the spirit to its simplest form. This release is an excellent starting point for consumers to get to know Killowen whiskey in all its balance and complexity. Despite trying to ‘keep it simple’, this whiskey still remains a wonderfully complex, full of pot still spice viscosity, which delivers on the nose, palate and finish brilliantly.
