Lagg Single Malt Special Release Set 1-3

Grab all three editions of Lagg Malt Special Release. This set includes batch 1, batch 2, and batch 3 of Lagg's inaugural single malts. All three are bottled at 50%, but their maturation has been varied: one is ex-bourbon cask; one is ex-red wine charred cask; the last is ex-oloroso sherry cask. Distillery Manager Graham Omand and his team have poured into making these Lagg Single Malt the robust, complex and earthy 'west-coast' style we know you'll love.

Batch 1 

Batch 1 is 100% matured in Bourbon Barrels for 36 months and was produced using Concerto barley and water from our borehole. Using peat from North East Scotland and the peating level is 50PPM. It is non-chill filtered with no additional colouring and is bottled at 50% abv. This Batch is a limited release of 10,000 bottles worldwide.

Batch 2 

Batch 2 is matured in Bourbon Barrels for 30 months and finished in 55 litre Ex-Oloroso Sherry Casks for 6 months. It was produced using Concerto barley and water from our borehole. Using peat from North East Scotland and the peating level is 50PPM.  It is non-chill filtered with no additional colouring and is bottled at 50% abv.  This Batch is a limited release of 10,000 bottles worldwide.

Batch 3 

Batch 3 is matured in Bourbon Barrels for 30 months and transferred into 50 litre Ex-Rioja Red Wine charred casks for 6 months. It was produced using Concerto barley and water from our borehole.  We used peat from North East Scotland and the peating level is 50PPM.  It is non chill filtered with no additional colouring and is bottled at 50% abv.  This Batch is a limited release of 10,000 bottles worldwide.
