Man O'Sword Founders STR Cask #376 60.5%
From the Annandale distillery in the Scottish Lowlands that stood idle for 90 years, comes this very special bottling. Matured for about 5 years in a red wine S.T.R. cask (shaved, toasted, re-charred). In this method, the used cask is sanded down on the inside, briefly burnt out again and charred. On the palate, this one offers notes of peat smoke and earthy notes, wonderfully complemented by notes of green foilage, creamy vanilla, fresh peach, and light notes of black pepper.
