Micil Peated Heritage Irish Whiskey is a tribute to Galway’s original pot still traditions, long before today’s narrow definitions. Made from a historic mashbill of peated malt, unmalted barley, oats, wheat and rye, it reflects an era when whiskey was crafted using whatever grains were available – resulting in spirits that were honest, characterful and full of depth.
This limited release of just 720 bottles was distilled slowly on a small traditional still, relying on skill, sensory instinct and time. Soft Connemara peat smoke drifts through layers of grain, spice and natural sweetness, creating a whiskey that feels both historic and vibrant. Matured in 50L Sherry and Spanish Oak casks, it offers bold texture, rich flavour and a true sense of place.
