This robust expression combines a mature 15 Year Old Grain Whiskey from Cooley Distillery with a 6 Year Old Malt Whiskey from Great Northern Distillery finished in a peat-infused sherry cask, alongside a 3 Year Old Malt Whiskey from Hinch Distillery in County Down. Bottled at 53% ABV, the result is a layered and complex whiskey that balances tradition, innovation, and modern Irish blending techniques.
The whiskey delivers a rich interplay of bourbon, port, and sherry cask influences, creating notes of dark fruit, gentle sweetness, warming spice, toasted oak, and subtle richness throughout. A delicate touch of campfire smoke from the peated malt adds depth and intrigue without overpowering the spirit.
Beyond the whiskey itself, this release also supports an important cause. €2 from every bottle sold will be donated to MADRA (Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption) in Galway, helping support the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dogs across Ireland.
