This Pouilly-Fumé is sourced from south and south-east facing vineyards overlooking the Loire, planted on clay-limestone and Kimmeridgian marl soils rich in fossilised oyster shells. With an average vine age of 35 years, the site delivers both concentration and balance.
Produced using traditional methods, the grapes are gently pressed before fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks to preserve aromatic clarity. The wine is then aged on fine lees, adding texture and complexity while maintaining freshness.
The result is a vibrant and well-balanced expression, combining citrus notes grapefruit in particular with subtle exotic fruit and a distinct mineral character drawn from its “terres blanches” terroir.
Versatile and food-friendly, it works equally well as an aperitif or alongside shellfish, grilled or sauced fish, white meats, roast poultry and a wide range of cheeses.
