A semi-official bottling of Glenlivet for private bottling stars Gordon and Macphail. This is named 'Smiths' in homage to George Smith the first owner of Glenlivet. Aged in refill sherry casks, this has a delicate, fruity and spicy flavour.

Glenlivet Founder's Reserve is an accessible, no age statement entry level expression that delivers the house's signature honeydew melon, cream toffee, and light floral character with consistency and without demanding significant investment. It will not challenge a 12 or 15 Year Old for complexity, but as a well made introductory Speyside with no sharp edges and broad appeal, it does its job competently. At its price point it is a reliable choice.
