The nose opens with earthy minerality, sea salt, dried banana, lemon zest, and a gentle touch of smoke. On the palate, bright flavours of grapefruit, orange pith, and pomelo are balanced by a soft marshmallow sweetness, creating a rich yet refreshing experience.
The finish is long and rewarding, revealing notes of cocoa, glazed cherries, salted pretzels, and lingering smoke. Full-bodied, complex, and intensely characterful, this whisky is a superb example of Springbank’s traditional style.
