Miguel Hogan Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a distinctive expression from The Limerick Spirits Company, inspired by the remarkable story of Miguel Hogan, a Limerick native whose military career took him from Ireland to Portugal. This release pays tribute to his adventurous spirit and the life he built abroad.

This single malt whiskey has been carefully finished in Ruby Port casks, adding layers of rich fruit character and complexity to the whiskey's natural malt sweetness. The influence of the port cask brings vibrant notes of ripe berries and juicy grapes, complementing the smooth and approachable style of the spirit.

The nose opens with aromas of creamy vanilla, pears, blackberries, juicy grapes and toasted honey biscuits. On the palate, flavours of butterscotch, vanilla, cinnamon, honey and fresh fruit combine to create a rich and balanced experience. The medium to long finish gradually develops with lingering sweetness, gentle spice and evolving layers of fruit and oak.
