Hennessy Paradis Imperial

Eaux-de-vie destined for use in Paradis are identified from the very beginning. Chosen from the best of each terroir, but principally from Grande Champagne, the terroir that can fulfil in general the greatest potential across time. Ageing in very old barrels, about 20 years old. After 50 years, some of the eaux-de-vie are aged in the Paradis chais or in the Founder chai for the single batches.

Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green
Nose Floral nose of jasmine and honeysuckle, underlined by a layer of soft red berry intensity.
Palate A velvet silky texture on the palate. Lengthy finish. A paradox of aromas that come together in perfect harmony: the surprisingly spicy notes softened by perfumes of dried rose petals, and the power of its headier notes, voluptuous and tempting.
Colour Superb colours of coppery gold.
