Mackinlays Rare Old Highland Whisky
Mackinlay's Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is a faithful recreation of the Whisky taken to Antarctica in 1907 by explorer Ernest Shackleton and his men which was discovered in 2007. This was created by Rob Paterson using all his skill to create a drop as close to the orginal as possible by digging out a rare cask of Glen Mhor from 1980, as well as some heavily-peated Dalmore, and others including a Glenfarclas, Mannochmore, Tamnavulin, Ben Nevis, Aultmore, Fettercairn, Pulteney and Jura. The resulting blend creates a new & an extremely highly rated interpretation of a truly classic whisky.
For every bottle sold Mackinlays will make a donation to the New Zealand Antartic Heritage Trust.
