Teeling Trois Rivieres
A small batch collaboration between Dublin’s Teeling whiskey and the Trois Rivieres Rum Distillery in Martinique. The island of Martinique is best known for producing rums made from freshly squeezed sugar cane juice as opposed to molasses- which is more common in Spanish and English speaking regions. These ‘French’ style rums are widely known as ‘Rhum Agricole’ and offer quite unique flavours.
In this case the Teeling Small Batch whiskey has been enhanced by the finishing in rum casks where the delicate sweet, floral flavours of the rhum agricole perfectly complimenting the bright, fruity character of Teeling whiskey.
