Slane Castle Triple Casked Irish Whiskey

70cl

The second release under the Slane Castle Whiskey brand, this is an interesting blend that we think will become very popular. It has been aged via what they call ‘Triple Casked Whiskey’, meaning it was aged in three varieties of casks: virgin American oak, seasoned bourbon casks and ex-oloroso sherry casks. This recipe creates an exceptional smooth and robust flavour. We believe the use of sherry barrels has rounded this whiskey out nicely, and offers good value for money compared to many other NAS blends in the price range. We first got a sneak peak at this whiskey at Whiskey Live in November, and was one of the most talked about whiskeys of the event.
