Barbeito Bastardo Duas Pips 50cl
Bastardo was extinct in Madeira for many years. Its recovery was due to Teófilo Cunha, who in 2004 planted vineyards of that variety on his family´s lands in São Jorge, situated on the north of the island. In this blend, there are two added wines, one made by skin contact fermentation from 2010 (Cask of 400 litres) and another one by direct pressing from 2012 (Cask of 700 litres) that resulted in 1700 bottles all numbered.

Awards and/or Press Quotes | "Duas Pipas has a blend of two vintages Cask 2010 Cask made with skin contact fermentation and another of 2012 by direct pressing. Resulting in a dryer wine, firm, fresh, tense and full of nut pecan, soft to say enough. In other words: the result is promising." 17/20 - Revista de Vinhos |
