Jancis Robinson | "Smells of Turkish coffee, leather, proper Oxford marmalade. Huge concentration. Tastes judderingly dry. Toasty, dark, double-bass ribbons of flavour underpinning brighter notes of lemon curd and candied citrus peel. Hot cross buns and stollen spiciness, melted butter and sandalwood, smoky passion fruit and piercing, piercing freshness on the finish." |
