This vintage marks the first time Vinhos Barbeito have bottled a 2007 Malvasia as a single cask colheita. It began aging in warehouse D, with high temperatures, where it quickly gained concentration. In 2017, the cask was transferred to warehouse E, which, being cooler, allowed for a slower and more balanced evolution of the wine in its connection between acidity and sugar. On the palate, this wine offers a good concentration on the palate with flavors of yellow fruit jam, and the present acidity plays an important role in the balance and freshness of the tasting.
