This “New Born” New Make Spirit has been produced in Boann Distillery’s state-of-the-art distillery, which is the first in Ireland to employ nano-technology and pioneering sub coolers. This Single Pot Still Spirit is a mash of 40% malted barley, 55% green barley, 3.75% oats and 1.25% rye. Winner of World’s Best New Make Spirit in the world at the World Whiskies Awards 2021.

Tasting Notes from the Producer
Aromas (without water)
The nose has a lovely subtle sweetness of icing sugar, lemon Sherbet, with a delicious character of warm, freshly baked soda bread behind the citrus.
Flavour
The palate is thick and oily, which gives a luxurious silky mouthfeel. This is complemented by a spry gingery palate, with notes of lemon sherbet coming to the fore, with a slight hint of cracked black pepper and coriander seeds at the back of the palate.
