Yes, and the single malt range in particular is seriously underrated. Bushmills is the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery, operating since 1608 in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Triple distillation through copper pot stills produces the characteristic light orchard fruit, honeyed malt, and delicate spice profile. The 21 Year Old Madeira Cask Finished expression stands as one of the most accomplished aged Irish whiskeys available and consistently outperforms its price point.
Yes. Bushmills Irish Whiskey is distilled from malted barley and grain, and triple distilled through copper pot stills. The distillation process removes gluten proteins from the grain derived wash to below detectable levels. Bushmills is considered gluten free under current food safety guidelines. As with all grain distilled spirits, individuals with clinically diagnosed coeliac disease should consult their medical advisor before consuming.
Bushmills is an Irish whiskey distillery and brand based in the village of Bushmills, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, home to the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery, operating since 1608. Bushmills is made at Old Bushmills Distillery in Bushmills, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on the northeast coast. Water comes from Saint Columb's Rill, a tributary of the River Bush. All distillation, maturation, and bottling takes place on site. The distillery uses copper pot stills for malt whiskey production and triple distils all its spirit, a practice that distinguishes it from Scotch single malt production which typically distils twice.
