The fourth expression from the Bushmills Steamship Collection, here we have the Rum Cask Reserve. Released originally for the Travel Retail market this Irish single malt has been matured in first-fill Caribbean rum casks, inspired by SS Bushmills’ homeward bound journey that included a stop in St. Vincent in the Caribbean, where the ship was stocked with rum to bring back to The Old Bushmills Distillery. A decadent marriage of residual rum flavours, slowly drawn from deep within the oak, and our famously fruity and honeyed malt whiskey.
