Connacht Single Malt Spirit Of The Atlantic
The first widely available release of single malt from good folks at the Connnacht Distillery in Ballina. This has been aged in ex-Bourbon barrels and then finished in ex-Sherry casks with a total maturation time of four years. Great served on its own of as a base for classic whiskey cocktails.

Tasting Notes from the Producer
Aromas (without water)
Raisins and dried fruits, followed by a honey sweetness with notes of fudge and butterscotch with an almond nuttiness and hints of star anise.
Flavour
Vanilla and spices compliment notes of dried fruits and malt.
Finish: warming and full bodied with lingering walnuts and honey.
