A limited-edition bottling from the Connacht Whiskey Company, the Spade & Bushel 5-Year-Old Amarone Cask was matured initially in premium select bourbon casks for 4 years before finishing in a selection of Amarone wine casks sourced from the Veneto region of Italy.
This limited release (1600 bottles) boasts grape must, oak, and vanilla, with soft nutmeg and cranberry on the finish. Plenty of barley-sweetness that shines through the layers of complexity. A real treat!
