Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin is made at The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim, on the shores of Lough Allen, founded by PJ Rigney in 2014. It is distilled in a custom made 500 litre copper pot still and uses a distinctive botanical selection that includes Gunpowder Chinese tea, kaffir lime leaves, meadowsweet, and locally grown angelica, alongside classic gin botanicals. The Leitrim location and foraged native botanicals are central to the brand's identity.
