Laphroaig Brodir Port Wood Finish

70cl

Brodir takes its name from the Norse word for Brother and the name it taken to celebrate the close ties between Scotland and the Nordic region. This was originally released for travel retail but is now becoming easier to find elsewhere. Maturation is initially carried out in traditional ex-Bourbon barrels before a second period in European oak casks that have been seasoned with Ruby Port. As you would expect the Port has added some sweet fruitiness which interacts really nicely with the pungent smokiness typical of Laphroaig.
