Powers Irish Whiskey is produced at Midleton Distillery in County Cork by Irish Distillers, a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard. The brand was established by John Power and Son at the John's Lane Distillery in Dublin in 1791. Production moved to Midleton in 1975 when the old Dublin distilleries consolidated. Powers is one of Ireland's most historically significant whiskey brands and the Three Swallow and John's Lane expressions represent some of the finest single pot still Irish whiskey produced at Midleton.
