Released May 2018. This single cask of Powers has been specially selected by the Celtic Whiskey Shop and completes the trilogy of casks numbered 284, 285 and 286. This is made using the traditional pot still spirit of Powers and matured in refill casks which work in harmony with the whiskey letting the robust character shine through.

Who makes Powers Irish Whiskey?

Powers Irish Whiskey is produced at Midleton Distillery in County Cork by Irish Distillers, a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard. The brand was established by John Power and Son at the John's Lane Distillery in Dublin in 1791. Production moved to Midleton in 1975 when the old Dublin distilleries consolidated. Powers is one of Ireland's most historically significant whiskey brands and the Three Swallow and John's Lane expressions represent some of the finest single pot still Irish whiskey produced at Midleton.
