Celtic Cask Deich (10) 1999 Rhone Cask Finish Peated Single Malt
A delicious, peated single malt that was double distilled and initially aged for eleven years in an ex-Bourbon barrel. It was then transfered into a red Rhone wine cask from Domain Des Anges for an additional finishing period of around four years.

Nose | Peat smoke and fresh fruit. Sackcloth, iodine, baked apples and tangerines. |
Palate | Chewy and big. Lots of peat smoke, red fruits, orange peel, cloves and toffee. |
Finish | Complex, creamy and soft with persistent smoke to the end. |
