Suntory Yamazaki 18 Year Old
70cl
/
43% Vol
An interesting mix of Sherry casks and Mizunara-Japanese oak casks are used to age this exceptional 18 year old single malt. Unmistakably Japanese in character, this combines some overtly fruity flavours with spice, resinous wood and dark chocolate.

FAQs
No. Suntory Whisky is Japanese, produced at distilleries including Yamazaki and Hakushu in Japan. Suntory founder Shinjiro Torii and master distiller Masataka Taketsuru studied Scotch production methods in the early 20th century and modelled the initial Japanese whisky industry on the Scotch model, which explains the stylistic similarities. However, Suntory Whisky is legally and geographically Japanese, produced in Japan under Japanese regulations, and carries no Scotch designation or Scottish production connection.
