Celtic Cask Triocha a Hocht (38) 2000 Vin Santo was Double distilled on the island of Ireland. It was matured in a first fill bourbon cask for 14 years before being partly decanted into a refill Vin Santo caratelli from the famous Altesino winery. This is a small 50 litre cask made of chestnut oak and lovingly bottled by the Celtic Whiskey Shop. On the palate, this one is soft, juicy, and fruity with lovely caramel toffees, dried vine fruits, prunes, plumes, spices, pepper, and enticing toasty oak.
