Celtic Cask Daichead a Haon (41) 2001 Oloroso was double distilled in the Republic of Ireland before an initial maturation in a first fill bourbon cask for 13 years. This was followed by 7 years of subsequent maturation in a resized 53 litre Oloroso barrel made from solera cask staves. On the palate, this release is juicy, fruity and toasty with some prominent oakiness. Structured and multi-layered with flavours of mesquite, salted meats, dried vine fruits, dates and prunes.
