Blue Spot 7 Year Old Cask Strength
The highly anticipated collaboration from Irish Distillers and Mitchells & Sons, Blue Spot 7 Year Old Cask Strength, has finally arrived! The revival of the Blue Spot marks the end of a 56 year wait since the last recorded bottling of the old Blue Spot in 1964. Building on the bourbon and sherry maturation the new Blue Spot also contains whiskey aged in carefully selected Madiera casks, made in a cooperage in the north of Portugal and then sent to the island of Madeira. Bottled at cask strength, with an annual changing of abv from batch to batch.

| Taste | A smooth mouthfeel with a subtle mix of fruit, a hint of clove oil and cracked black pepper corns. Sweet spices, vanilla and cinnamon add to the wood’s nutty contribution. |
| Nose | A light mix of pineapple, kiwi, green banana and lime zest followed by Pot Still spices, baked apple, hazelnut and toasted wood. |
