This stellar release from GlenAllachie combines single malts from Speyside and Islay, including whisky from GlenAllachie's own stocks, rested in a host of Spanish sherry casks, wine barriques, and virgin oak. Bottled at cask strength, the result is an impressive balance of elegant peat smoke, sweet, honeyed fruit, treacle, and spice.
