This pure breed Oloroso style is a powerful but extraordinarily gentle wine, mouth filling, rich, unctuous. On the palate, it is initially agreeable, oily, unctuous and round. Mid-palate, we find a potent wine that is long and full-bodied with elegant medicinal, toasted and dark-roasted notes and bitter chocolate in the finish.

Making Techniques
This is the traditional Jerez wine par excellence. Oloroso Tradición VORS, in addition to being our longest and most full-bodied wine, is also the smoothest and most elegant. Its age, which is approximately an average of 45 years, and its oxidative ageing process (with no flor and in total contact with the oxygen) have given it very particular properties. Our Oloroso is the result of combining soleras from the 18th and 19th centuries.

It is a very versatile wine which can be drunk as an aperitif with mature cheeses or ham. It is spectacular with stews, such as oxtail or pork cheek. It is also a good accompaniment to small and big game. Given its potency, we do not need to drink much to complement the morsel. It goes well with tea biscuits or a mild, Dominican type cigar.
Awards and/or Press Quotes
Wine Advocate 95/100 Luis Gutierrez
'The single vintage wines are different, but they are not necessarily better than the solera wines. In fact I preferred the Oloroso VORS to the two single- vintage; I found it more complex and fluid, while the single vintages were more concentrated and powerful, but not as nuanced. I’m talking about the NV Tradicion Oloroso VORS, on average 45-50 years old, which gives the wine a concentration of glycerin and dry extract that is amazing. Silky, very interesting to see the wine that has been blended over the years is more complex. The proverbial iron fist in a velvet glove, it is full-bodied, and still follows the same, clean, elegant, precise line of the rest of the wines from Tradicion. Drink 2013-2025.'
