Portobello Road No. 171 Gin
This was formulated by a group of gin experts at the Ginstitute in The Portobello Star bar. After tasting their antique collection of old gins they were able to formulate this classic London Dry gin based on long departed brands. A good, heavy dose of juniper characterises this gin which is accompanied by coriander, cistrus, bitter organge, nutmeg and licorice. This makes a great G&T or Negroni.

Tasting Notes from the Producer | |
Flavour | On the front of the palate, Portobello Road Gin has a generous slug of juniper, the mid-palate has a sustained, fresh citrus character from our use of lemon, bitter orange and coriander, which then develops into a sweet peppery finish, achieved by the use of liquorice and nutmeg. |
