The Peat Monster
A vatting of smoky/peaty malts which have been sourced from Islay distilleries at Port Askaig and the south of the Island, there's also some peated malt from Ardmore distillery. What might surprise some is the vibrant fruitiness of this whisky. The smoke is present but not in monstrous levels, it is backed up by flavours of papaya, vanilla, honey and sweet oak.
