The Port Finish bottling of Tyrconnell is sweet and fruity with delicious flavours of fruit and nut chocolate and some hints of red fruits and smooth malt. Like the other whiskeys in this range the Port Finish was initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before being transferred in Port casks for a final maturation period.

Nose
Fruity and sweet smelling with aromas of fruit and nut chocolate, red fruits and roasted nuts.
Palate
Sweet and fruity, with flavours of dried fruits, roasted nuts, caramel and toffee. Quite light and soft.
Colour
Golden with some reddish tones.
