A stunning release from Glenmorangie which has been matured in American oak casks. A proportion of this whiskey spends its final three years in Spanish Oloroso casks to add some fantastic weight and complexity. Like all Glenmorangies, it has a polished and refined mouthfeel with some distinct tropical fruit flavours giving it a nice lift.

The standard Glenmorangie Original 10 Year Old is a high volume production expression and does not typically appreciate at auction or on the secondary market. It is a commercial whisky designed for broad accessibility. Glenmorangie expressions that do carry appreciating value include the limited annual Private Edition releases, older age statements such as the 25 Year Old Dornoch, and single cask bottlings. Investment grade Glenmorangie is the exception rather than the rule within the range.
