Tobermory 15 Year Old
Quite a different Tobermory to the standard 10 year old. Like most whiskies from the distillery this has been matured on the Scottish mainland in ex-Bourbon casks, what sets this apart is the final year of ageing. This is when the whisky is transferred into Oloroso Sherry casks from Gozales Byass and also sent back to the Isle of Mull for a year. The sherry casks add a lot of rich, chocolate, mocha and spice flavours and have a big influence on the whisky. This one for lovers of big, sherry matured whiskies.
