Introducing the second instalment of Redbreast's Iberian series. Here's a small batch Irish whiskey matured between 8-10 years that has been recasked and finished in a collection of superb Tawny Port Hogsheads. It boasts sweet and warming confectionery notes of buttered pastry accompanied by aromas of caramelised almonds with subtle undertones of praline and dried cherry with notes of chocolate-coated hazelnut and salted caramel, quickly followed with fresh plums and dried figs and a long finish with hints of spice and toasted oak.
