A welcome staple in the Kilkerran core range since 2020, the 16 Year Old continues to impress with each annual release offering a subtle twist on this Campbeltown classic. The 2025 edition showcases a beautifully balanced maturation, delivering depth, vibrancy and a gentle touch of smoke.
On the nose, rich notes of prunes, marzipan and orange-infused chocolate set the tone. The palate is vibrant and complex, with layers of maraschino cherry syrup, liquorice, dates and star anise, complemented by a hint of cinnamon toast and soft peat smoke. The finish lingers with sea salt, hazelnuts, mint and morello cherries.
