Cantina Tramin's Gewurztraminer Nussbaumer is the best Gewurztraminer outside of Alsace! The last 10 vintages in a row have received 3 Bichierri Gambero Rosso. The Nussbaumer estate is located in Sella, a small village above Tramin. It has a long history stretching back over 700 years of wine-growing, making it one of the oldest estates in Tramin. Vineyards here are planted between 350-550 meters on the slopes below the Roen mountains, an ideal position to benefit from fresh, drying winds that blow from Lake Garda during the entire season.

Making Techniques
Harvested in small bins, then gently crushed and left to macerate with their juice for a brief period to capture the characteristic aromatics of Gewürztraminer . After pressing, the lees are left to ferment at a controlled temperature (18-20ºC) in stainless steel tanks.
