Beefeater is the only internationally premium distilled spirit still made in the heart of London. The name is inspired by the yeoman warders, who famously stand watch over the Tower of London. They are locally known as Beefeaters! Lovely smooth gently mouth feel with lots of citrus flavours coming through. A little spicy with lots of juniper coming through on the finish.

Making Techniques
Still produced using recipe that was created by founder, James Burrough. Neutral grain spirit is steeped in copper pot stills for 24 hours. The stills are then gently heated. Changes from liquid to vapour, back to vapour. Different batonicals released at different stages of this 7 hour process. Master distiller must decide when to make cut. Only middle cut is used, and tops and tails are discarded.

FAQs
A standard 35ml measure of Beefeater Pink Gin at 37.5% ABV contains approximately 72 calories, derived entirely from alcohol. There are no significant carbohydrates or sugars in the gin itself. However, if served as a Pink Gin and Tonic using a standard 150ml tonic, the total calorie count rises to approximately 120 to 130 calories per serve, depending on whether regular or light tonic is used.
Beefeater bottles use a standard aluminium screw cap. If it appears stuck, run warm water over the cap for 20 seconds to expand the metal slightly and break any sugar or residue seal from the lip. Grip with a dry cloth for traction and turn anticlockwise. The bottle has no secondary cork or stopper beneath the cap. This is a practical common sense operation that should not require specialist tools or techniques.
Yes. Beefeater is a London Dry Gin distilled from neutral grain spirit with a botanical basket containing juniper, angelica root, coriander seed, lemon peel, Seville orange peel, orris root, liquorice root, and almond. The distillation process removes any grain derived gluten proteins from the base spirit. Beefeater is considered gluten free and safe for individuals with gluten intolerance.
Beefeater is distilled from a 100% grain neutral spirit base, which is then redistilled with nine botanicals: juniper, angelica root and seed, coriander seed, lemon peel, Seville orange peel, orris root, liquorice root, and ground almond. The botanicals are steeped in the base spirit for 24 hours before distillation, which is a steeping duration that distinguishes Beefeater's method from gins that distil the botanical charge without prior maceration.
