Celtic Cask 48 Daichead a Hocht 2003
A 2003 double-distilled unpeated malt from the Cooley Distilery. This started life in an ex-Bourbon barrel before being transferred into a refill Anima Negra red wine barrel from Mallorca (French Oak). This was done in 2011 and in December 2021 it was transferred again into a Pedro Ximenez Sherry cask where it spent a final 23 months.
Like all our Celtic Casks this is very limited and just 226 bottles have been released. We think it offers unbeatable value for a 20 year old whiskey and hope it will be opened and appreciated by all.
