Introducing the Limited Edition Hlymrekr Saga Bottling, a nod to the Danish Vikings' role in Limerick's history. The journey of each bottle begins with Cask No. HS-003, chosen for its fine American oak. Next, at Denmark's Stauning Distillery, the cask was filled with their signature Rye new-make whisky.
On May 23, 2022, the cask welcomed the anticipated Single Pot Still Whiskey, aged in ex-Bourbon American Oak Casks since August 16, 2018. After maturing for 5 years and 7 months, and then finishing in the Danish rye cask for 1 year and 10 months, this whiskey boasts a complex blend of flavours and aromas. Bottled at a cask strength of 59.41% ABV. Limited to just 270 bottles.
